Rowdy friends was full of rowdy drunks
We attended the rowdy friends tour to enjoy some great musicians. Unfortunately, we could not hear or really understand the artists - the amps were too high, so you heard instruments but no words to songs or when the artists talked. The crowd was at a roar as soon as we arrived, with people already very drunk. The night went on, and the beer flowed, making the situation worse. Beer spilled down our backs, vomit was all over the bathrooms, and people were smoking in their seats. Next to us, a couple of dudes almost came to blows, with one falling over the railing, having mostly stripped his clothes. Into Cowboy Sweetheart's third song, we had enough and decided to leave. We were tired of beer being spilled on us, people stripping, and crotches being ground into our heads. The drunk attendees didn't care about their actions. Outside, we encountered someone trying to drive a car on the main road doing 5 miles per hour and drifting to the right side. We were concerned about the potential dangers if we waited until the end of the concert, with many drunk people trying to drive or starting fights. I don't think I will attend another concert at the Schott, as this is the second time such incidents have occurred. I feel like I wasted my money on the tickets, not being able to hear or enjoy the artist I came to see, primarily Cowboy Sweetheart. It's not his fault. Something needs to be done about the excessive alcohol consumption at these events; there should be a way to permit drinking but stop sales once the concert starts or within an hour of it starting. It's a disservice to the artists and the genuine fans. I won't pay for tickets again, especially when they are not cheap, and then not even be able to enjoy the event I spent hundreds of dollars on.
